The reason why it is so difficult for anyone in a leadership position to be impactful to the degree that is satisfying, is that in order to demonstrate how much you love the people you are there to serve, you would ultimately be fulfilling your own deepest wishes; and self-fulfillment, in today’s society, has been vilified nearly to the point of self-sabotage.
Is it good to be wealthy and powerful? Does this make you the bad guy, because you get what you want, whether or not those you benefit from are taken care of?
Here’s what would happen if you achieved your heart’s true wish in the area where you are most responsible and most visible to others: You would get to show up as the hero—admired and seen for your best qualities and highest intentions.
To finally be seen for your loving intentions toward those who are dependent upon you—everything you’ve done up to this point would be worthwhile; and you would feel exonerated in any areas where you fell short before—
You’d be out of the hot seat.
If you are experiencing this predicament, you want this so badly, you are practically driving it away from yourself.
Are you ready for what’s going to make you want to stop everything and make sure you’re not traversing a juggernaut?
This quandary where the more you strive to make something happen, the further it slips beyond your reach—this thing that secretly drives you, while your highest claims, expectations and promises to yourself and to others do nothing but vex you…is actually…Quantum Entanglement'; I’m sorry to tell you. It is not possible for this to be happening to nearly everyone who intensely desires their own fulfillment.
Has this culture really given in to the illusion that the people who are wealthy, powerful and outwardly confident are satisfied in a way that makes a person genuinely happy? The outward wealth in the case of this paradox is paralleled by an equal case of inner poverty. That’s why this feels so intense. And you cannot resolve one without the other.
How would you like to find that you don’t have to pay the price for not knowing that the path you were on was leading you in circles, but that there is a windfall of a net waiting to catch you, mid-fall?
